I was recently in your store and was asked if I wanted to apply for a Sears card. After agreeing to apply I was told that I already have a cardissued to me.
Now I know I applied and recieved a card around 1979, but I have not used it in years and no longer have it.

I have a Sears Mastercard. In November I purchased a TV with a no interest for 24 months option. I paid my bill due on December 22, 2010 at the Sears in Pensacola on December 4. My total owed was $83.75. I added another $100.00 towards paying the TV balance. I received my new bill due on 1/22/2011 today. The balance for the TV had not been reduced by $100.00. I called the Sears Card number & spoke to Juliette in Customer Service who told me that the extra $100.00 had been credited to additional purchases I had made after my closing date. This makes it very difficult to keep up with knowing how much to remit in order to pay down the balance of the TV. Also, why is the $100.00 being used to pay for purchases that would not be due until the next billing cycle? My regular purchases & Promo purchases are not listed separately on my bill. I think if you call again to call center (1-800-697-3277), explain everything as explained here they will understand you. Tell them that you wanted to pay 100$ for TV credit and not for new purchases. Ask them to credit 100$ on TV and not on new purchases.

Recently at a sears store I forgot my credit card. I gave my info to use the card anyway. Some how the emplyee signed me up for a new card. How does that happen whenI already have a Sears card? Please let me know how I can eliminate the second card? Thank You.

I recently purchased a washing machine from Sears. They asked if I would like to apply for a Sears Card and save the percentage to do so. I did and the washing machine was put on the card. I was preapproved at that point. Yesterday I received a letter in the mail indicated that I was not approved for the card. I’m unsure as to what happened, my credit is good; and also how I will go about paying for the washing machine now. I don’t want to have a charge hanging out there. Do I go directly to Sears to pay for it? I’m quite confused.

My wife, Margaret R. Clemens and I have had a Sears Credit Card for probably around fifty years. We received a letter advising us that it would be changed to a Sears Master Card if we didn’t call before 5-13-11. I called today and gave the woman I spoke with all the details on the card and she told me that I couldn’t stop the issuance of the new card that my wife has to call. nI tolodm her bshe was unavailable at the time and that I didn’t want the new card. She was very curt and told me that my wife had to call, that I couldn’t do anything about it. Guess what? I can. Not only do I not want your Master Card, I no longer want your credit and will discontinue using it. I doubt that you will put this out for others on-line to read, however, in the unlikely even that you do, I’ll only give you the last four digits 6084.
Sears and K-Mart are very convenient for us but not necessary. Sorry our business relationship ended this way. Thank the representative I encountered on the phone.
